Ross Express Participates in the Teens & Trucks Program
August 4, 2014
Teens & Trucks is a program sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) designed to educate our nation's youth on how to share the road with commercial vehicles. Many young people put themselves in danger by failing to recognize the difference in handling characteristics between commercial vehicles and personal vehicles. The goal of the program is to teach teen drivers how commercial vehicles operate on the road while providing tips for safe driving.
On Thursday, July 17, Ross Express driver, Michael Bradford and Safety Director, Douglas Freese, spent the morning at Goffstown High School in Goffstown, NH volunteering for the program. They taught the students about blind spots, keeping a safe distance, how to properly pass a commercial vehicle and more.
