Ross Express Celebrates National Transportation Week.
May 6, 2016
National Transportation Week was first established by Congress in 1962. This week is a tribute to all transportation professionals and the vital role they play in supporting our country.
As the industry continues to fight with a nation-wide driver shortage, creating awareness for the industry as a whole is a huge priority for government and businesses alike. Many outreach programs, such as the Garrett A. Morgan Technology and Transportation Futures Program, are specifically designed to encourage young students to consider a career in transportation. With many of the industry's seasoned workforce retiring, creating new interest in transportation careers is critical.
Please join us in celebrating National Transportation Week by spreading awareness and by thanking current transportation professionals for their hard work!
